Employ Me is working alongside Yheduun Gauur a Majority owned, led and staffed National indigenous Consultancy business, located on Ngunnawal Land and operates in Canberra, Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle.
We have implemented key initiatives in the Company’s Indigenous Employment and Capability Strategy and Reconciliation Action Plan that we are creating a workplace that is culturally aware and that supports our Indigenous staff to realise their career goals.

Our business is constantly engaged with Elders and Community Representatives to provide an inclusive workplace. Employ Me has implemented a range of Indigenous-specific and mainstream initiatives that are supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people into work. The emphasis is on achieving 26-week employment outcomes because this is the key to ensuring people remain in the workforce. Employ Me setting the standard in 2017, by meeting it’s target of 2.7% for representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees by end of December 2017.
Employ Me has over 4% representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians in 2018.
2018 and beyond for Employ Me:
➢ Improve the percentage of Employ Me’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians percentage in our workforce
➢ Target for representation of people with a disability to make up 5% of our workforce
➢ To Build support for our Reconciliation Action Plan
➢ Report Progress against Reconciliation Action Plan targets
➢ Ensure Yheduun Gauur Leadership Team monitor actions, responsibilities, and timelines of Reconciliation Action plan
